I need your help

I’m new to America so still getting used to the colloquialisms etc. I’m working on an ad campaign for a competition and need everyone’s help a little. In England we probably wouldn’t tell someone we didn’t know very well “beer gives me diarrhea” “your mums kind of hot” etc. What kind of things wouldn’t you share with someone you didn’t know well? I need your help (No Money Needed)

I’m a graphic designer. Sat in Chicago. Unable to work, just yet. I have a lot of free time on my hands, a lot! I’m not allowed to do volunteer work. 
I’m working on some solo projects. Any suggestions of what I could do? Only boring people get bored, I’m not going to get bored. I just want a huge selection of things to keep me occupied.

Ideas ???
